WELCOME MAIL

Hi Sonia,

I’m Júlia. In this e-mail I’ll only tell you some of my dreams because I have a lot and I couldn’t put them all here.

Now my short-terms goals are finish batxillerat with good marks and improve my English a lot. At this moment these are my goals because I’m very indecisive and I haven’t decided what career I will do yet but I’m interested in languages and also in Biology. I need a good mark and I have to improve my English because I’d like to do Translation and Interpretation and if I do that, the mark which I need to entry to the college is a bit high and my mark is only based on the sum of batxillerat’s mark and selectivitat exam but only are important the main subjects (Spanish, Catalan, English, Philosophy and the subject that I’ll choose). I have to struggle a lot and I haven’t to neglecting my work because I want to meet these short-terms goals.

One long-term goal that I have is travel around the world because I love going abroad and I want to know different cultures, customs and traditions. I don’t know if I’ll meet this goal because travel costs a considerable amount but I don’t ever give up myself because there’s no excuse for not try it. I hope that in a future I can own a good job that allows me to have a good life and that allows me make real my dreams.

Another goal is adopt a child who lives in poor conditions and make him or her happy. This goal is connected with the last goal because in both of them I need money and patience.

These dreams are difficult to fulfil but I hope that I’ll be successful because I’ll ever refuse to give up.
